Robert's forté is in solving technical problems and
issues. His wide knowledge of applications and packages has made
him consummate at diagnosing faults - sometimes to the chagrin of
some of his colleagues!
Robert has over 20 years experience of the application of IT to
Local Government business. He has worked on a wide range of
equipment and software, varying from programming on the Mainframe
to installing hardware upgrades in PCs. Robert is now responsible
for managing a call-centre and providing end-user support. As
Quality Manager to Applications Services, he successfully managed
them through the process of obtaining ISO9001 certification under
the TickIT scheme at the first attempt. He has now carried out a
similar project for the Support Services section. Robert
maintains a wide interest in IT issues in and out of work.
Robert is 45 and spends much of his leisure time attending
classical concerts, opera and the theatre. He enjoys
scuba diving, having learnt to dive on one of his
regular holidays to the Caribbean.
